Yellow Flower Crafts presents the unique arts and crafts created by Irish Artist Deirdre Kinney. Taking most of her inspiration from the nature and wildlife around her, Deirdre is best known for her Glass Work, Sea Glass Paintings & Mixed Media Arts.
"The name 'Yellow Flower Crafts was inspired by the 'Whin' or 'Gorse' bushes that grow in abundance around the village of Ballyvoy, County Antrim near where I live and create my work:
You know Spring has arrived when they put on their vibrant display of yellow flowers.
I'm heavily influenced by the nature that surrounds me and use various mediums to create my art and crafts, including glass art, acrylic painting, sea glass creations and more. Where possible, I like to make useful pieces that have more than just artistic merit (I call it 'Practical Art'!). I also like to incorporate natural materials into my work and love to experiment!
Together with the many pieces I create that are ready to buy, I'm always pleased to consider commissions and will work closely with customers to ensure they receive the best service possible.
